OAV's origin and belief

In 1978, Mike Liu founded OAV Equipment and Tools, Inc., which started out as a manufacturer of band saw machines and DIY woodworking machines. Although he does not have a good grasp of the English language, he always ensures that his customers feel attended to; and do everything he that can to make sure his customers feel satisfied. Mr. Mike and his staff worked around the clock to make sure that the shipments were ready on time.

In 2000, the company grew to 200 employees. Mr. Mike established his own foundry, at that time OAV began to produce sliding table saws. Outside of Europe and the United States, the main countries purchasing saws are Iran and India. One day, we visited one of the factories which was utilized our saws. We are very frustrated to find that most factories complete the edge banding manually after cutting the panels with OAV saws. Due to work with their hands, most workers’ hands get hurt. OAV general manager, Dennis Liu, made up his mind on the spot. He told everyone that we would develop user-friendly, reliable, multi-functional edge banders for customers who were unable to afford the expensive machines, and that our mission was to help them.

OAV's mission and vision
OAV edge banding machine he envisioned was produced in early 2005, but it was not perfect. In many countries, the small factories can only afford one machine, which need to run 16 - 24 hours to complete the workload. In addition to being durable, the machine has to be versatile, and work effectively with different materials. Mr. Dennis knew the difficulties that the customers faced were be an opportunity for us to improve our product and we need to serve their needs. After continuous innovation, in 2010, OAV launched a full series ofedge banding machinesto meet different customers needs. As of the present moment, tens of thousands of machines have been sold throughout the world.
